An active group of Chess enthusiasts from IIT Kharagpur; purely meant to boost the enthusiasm and chess culture in the institute[1]. In order to join the club, a freshers' tournament is held open for all freshers' followed by an interview for selection. The club conducts weekly practice sessions and workshops. Besides this, regular online and offline tournaments open to all are conducted throughout the year. Some include women's tournament, Inter-Section Tournament , Inter-Department Tournament, and many more.
