Along with Illumination various halls of residents celebrate Diwali by creating "huge" sand arts colloquially known as Rangoli. Students have developed a lot new creative forms of Rangoli including multi panel Rangolis, Rangolis which show different images depending on the background light and a Rangoli which is gibberish when it is looked at directly but which shows portrait of tagore when looked at through the concave mirror.

History[edit | edit source]

Like Illumination until 2013, three best Rangolis were chosen by the Gymkhana and they were given a pot of Rasogulla.
