Notable students

In order to avoid personal bias and dispute, I think it'd be best if we include only those people in Notable students section who were once part of robotics club but now have graduated and are pursuing some research in related field. For example, Mr. Foo bar, Robo research at CMU. -- Xtinct (talk) 10:28, 12 August 2015 (IST)

I agree and that's the list of people I added too. In fact, I would like to add people not part of robotics club but are pursuing robotics currently in some form like PhD,MS,Startup or even job. I am in the process of adding the positions. --Dementor (talk) 10:45, 12 August 2015 (IST)
I think "notability" is a highly subjective term whose meaning has not been clearly established, and we should try to avoid it altogether. Instead, "Current / past robotics projects", or "alumni of Robotix", or even "students pursuing higher studies in robotics related areas" are all much better lists to make because it is very clear what the criterion for being in that list is. This is also why we avoid a notable alumni, or notable debaters, or notable Vice Presidents list, and so does Wikipedia. We just don't want to be in a position of trying to defend why one person is notable, and another isn't. -- Amrav (talk) 17:13, 12 August 2015 (IST)

Point Taken. Let's change it to "Alumni involved in Robotics" --Dementor (talk) 01:18, 13 August 2015 (IST)
