This is the template page for the Infobox New Course.

Usage

This template is a general infobox for courses on the UBC Wiki. This template is automatically called when using the course inputbox is used on the create a new page article. Please note: Since this infobox is used on a variety of different course pages, it is not editable. If you would like to customize the infobox for your course, copy and paste the infobox code to a new template page and edit as desired.

How to use

To include an Infobox New Course in your article, copy and paste the following code onto your page. Then, fill in values for the appropriate parameters.

Parameters

Infobox Parameters:

• title= the title of your course (e.g. Introduction to Biology).
• picture= add an image to the infobox by linking to an uploaded image on the wiki; for example: (Image:wiki.png). See Help:Adding Media for information on how to upload and link to pictures.
• subject code= Four letter subject code for your course (BIOL, PHYS, MATH, LIBR, etc)
• course number= Your course number
• section number= Your section number
• instructor= The primary instructor name
• instructor 2= additional instructor name
• instructor 3= additional instructor name
• instructor 4= additional instructor name
• instructor 5= additional instructor name
• email= the instructor's email address
• office= the main instructor's office location
• office hours= the instructor's office hours for this class
• schedule= the class schedule; what days and times the class meets
• classroom= the classroom location (such as building and room number).
