The Kharagpur Open Source Society (KOSS) is a great community of open-source enthusiasts at IIT Kharagpur. KOSS members collaborate on innovative open-source projects, applying cutting-edge solutions to real-world problems. The community promotes knowledge-sharing and personal growth in a supportive and engaging environment.
Each year, the community organises events introducing students to open-source culture, Linux technologies, Git version control workflows and various software technologies. These events are instrumental in fostering a culture of technology education, hands-on learning, and collaborative knowledge exchange within the community.
