While announcing a feature we should add a quick screen recoding on who to how to use that feature. On *nix systems you can use SimpleScreenRecorder for that purpose. Then to convert the video to gif use ffmpeg.

Then you can upload the gif to http://giphy.com , posting the link to Facebook should add the gif to the post.
